Down On Bush's Farm

Anyone in the mood for a song? I just had to share this.

A friend of mine and fellow Natalie Merchant fan wrote this to the tune of Down On Penny's Farm, an American Folk song covered by Merchant in her folk album The House Carpenter's Daughter. Merchant, by the way, has been in a dark state of mind since the election. Like her fellow anti-Bush artists, she's been doing her part to send Bush back to Crawford,Texas, even ticking off some audience members in the process during her last tour when she voiced her (God forbid!) political opinions on stage.

I thoroughly enjoyed my friend's rendition and got his permission, of course, to share it.
